J Stevens Identification
I have a 12 gauge side by side that has the markings Springfield over J. Stevens Arms Company. It looks like it had color case hardening but most is worn off. There is nothing I can find on the gun to identify a model number. Any ideas how I can identify what I have?

Gun Parts Corporation sells parts for all of the old Savage-Stevens-Springfield guns.
http://www.e-gunparts.com/ By looking at their online schematics, you can usually ID your model. Many of these old guns were made under a great number of model names and numbers but were basically the same gun. |
