Boron nitride

Does anyone know if boron nitride works with cast bullets? No experience with it.

OK

School me...

What is it, and what is it that it is supposed to do?

Is it a 'lubricant'?

Boron nitride

It's supposed to work like moly but it out gasses at a much higher temperature. 2500 degrees vs. about 500 degrees with moly. It helps with eliminating the cold bore first shot. I've seen it with copper jacketed bullets but not with lead and I was just curious as to if it was possible and if it worked well.
