Possible backlash for gun control attempts?

NRA spokesman thinks so, and I certainly hope he is correct:

One can only hope we are ALL taking note of how our reps vote, and will all take appropriate action as each comes up for re-election.

I concur
If history repeats itself, look what happened in 94 after the AWB and other gun control legislation was passed.
The Dems lost both the House & the Senate making Clinton a lame duck.

From what I can tell, it appears the majority of all current gun control legislation is originating from the Democrat Party.

Sadly, the backlash may be too late.

I'm pretty sure the ANTIs won't write a "sunset" into the new AWB. And afterall, seems they are going to the states to get the dirty work done.

One more SCOTUS appointment, a challenge may not do much good. Hopefully, we can nip it now.

Just because a law doesn't have a sunset provision doesn't mean it can't be repealed later on. Just a little harder because it would take a bigger vote to do so.
