Trigger Question

I kinda inherited a Sigma 40VE from a kid that needed the money.
This has the most atrocious trigger I've ever used. Any way to civilize it?

I am sure there must be, but I gave up on mine.

It resides in the safe and my 1941 Colt M1911A1 is back at hand.

it or learn to live with it!
