Shooters:
An easy one. Does Pyrodex P come in containers larger than one pound?

Thanks! Gascheck

Not at the retail store level. Don't know about direct sales, if any.

But you can get up to 48 pounds delivered for 1 hazmat fee.

Pyrodex & Such

Shooters:

While we're at it, what is the allowed mix in haz-mat shipments? Pyrodex, black, smokeless, primers??? Seems some places have different "mixes" allowed. Is 48 lbs the UPS mandated limit?

Thanks! Gascheck

Up to 48 pounds mixed in the shipping box including all primers and powders.
I don't know who mandates the maximum weight or why, but that's what the vendor's website states in the post that I listed the link above to.
I suppose that the UPS website could be checked for more details but why would a vendor set a limit at all?
