Stevens Model 35
I have a Stevens Model 35. I’m looking for information on, such as, Current worth?, cost of new?, manufacture date?.
The serial number is E361359, cal. 22 short, long and long rifle. Its barrel is blued with a wood Monte-Carlo stock and has some checkering at the grip and forearm. Unfortunately, it has lots of flaws including minor scratches, nicks, and dings on the stock, also minor rust and the rear sight is bent. This gun was handed down to my stepson 12+/- yrs ago from his father who had it since childhood (as the story is told). I have pics (too big to post here), would be happy to email or other. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Probably made in the 1970s, original price maybe $40.
A very nice one auctioned for $110 many months ago. It might be worth $100 if you cleaned it up and got the rust off. |

Thanks, Jim Watson
Is there a way I can narrow down the manufacture date?

Not that I can tell.
Is there anywhere on the gun a single letter in a circle? |
