Question about a synthetic stock for my Rem 700
My current Remington 700 .270 does not have a trap door on the magazine. I would like to upgrade to a synthetic stock. Is it possible to add the trap door with a new stock? any recommendations?
Thanks in advance, Delta |

sure thing
Order the BDL stock and get a floor plate for a BDL and simply transfer it into the stock. The magazine spring will have to be put into the floor plate , but other than that, it shouldn't be a problem. The only drawback from the job would be the floorplate will make the stock less stiff which shouldn't be a problem for a hunting rifle.
