Aperture sights?
Anyone know of some aperture sights that will fit a Marlin 981T bolt action? It has a 3/8'' dovetail on the rear and a drilled and tapped hole for front sight. Not sure what size the hole for the front sight is probabally #8 or #10 machine screw. I'm not objected to get the receiver drilled and tapped, but if there is an easier way i'll take it. Thanks

Go to Brownells or MidwayUSA. They both have them.

aperature sights
Dear Shooter:
You must be an old timer, or, a savy young shooter. To my mind there are no better sights for hunting, or shooting than aperature (peep) sights. Years ago, I used peep sights on 22s. I guess though we all get old and maybe need a scope but I still like the "openness" of the reciever sight. Harry B. |

I hope saying i'm a "savy young shooter" is a complement cause i guess that would be me. I'm thinking about getting into small bore target shooting. Cheap and fun.
