MIM parts in savage/stevens?

I am looking for a beater rifle and I like the Marlin XL-7 but found a review where it said alot of the small parts were MIM. My gunsmith has a jar full of broken MIM parts of various 1911's and I would rather pass on the MIM if at all possible.

Does the Savage and Stevens 200 use MIM parts? I tried to email them but they don't not accept email inquires.
