Has anyone reloaded frangible bullets?
Since this is probably my home area on the Forum and you guys the ones I trust the most for advice, this question is an off shoot from a question I was following in the "Art of the Rifle". It basicly was about what type of weapon would be best for home defense. (Rifle, Carbine, Pistol, Shotgun)
It got me thinking that none of them would really be safe because of over penitration and colaterial damage to family members or others. It got me interested on reloading some, frangible bullets for home defense. Have any of you had the opportunity to use, reload or test them out and if so what were your results and views. Thanks Jim

I have loaded frangible bullets for .243. No problem, load as any other bullet.

They're hard to reload, since they usually fragment after the first time.
I've loaded Nosler Lead-Free varmint bullets that are supposed to be "frangible". They seem like any other bullet to me. The destruction they cause is no more or less than other bullets in the same gun. (.22-250)
