Primer Indentation in Military Rifles

Are standard large rifle primers safe to use in a FN-FAL? I've noticed slight indentations on military surplus with hard primers when I cycle rounds through the action. I'm worried about getting a slam fire.

You need to be using the CCI BR34 primers. They are designed for the military style rifles and prevent slamfires like the one you're about to have.
