I'm seeking a hand spring and screws for a S&W Model 1-1/2
I'm currently in possession of a nickel plated Model 1-1/2 and it needs a hand spring and possibly 2 screws.
The hand spring is a high priority need and the screws would be nice to get. The hand spring snapped into two pieces and I can't find a replacement right now. If anybody has a spring they will sell to me, please let me know as soon as possible. If you know where I might be able to locate one elsewhere I would appreciate the lead to it. I'll post some photo's of the left side of the revolver to show which screws need to be replaced, later this evening Any help possible, is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gregory

I don't know of a source, but the hand spring is easily made. It is nothing but a flat spring with a bend in it to let the pin hold it in. I have made several. The screws are the harder part. They seem to be 4x42, but 4x40 should work and Brownells has 1" filister head screws in that size. Their refill pack is only about $7 so if they don't work there is no big loss.
