Lee Factory Crimp Die

I just bought the Deluxe Lee 4 Die set with the factory crimp die. It's my impression that one of the dies is the standard bullet seating die and the other is the factory crimp die but I'm not sure which one is which. They look almost the same except one is about 1/4" shorter. One says "Lee-44spl-14", and the shorter die says "Lee-44/44M-E4" Can anyone tell me which is which?

The one that was all by itself in the top of the case is the FCD. Also, I *think* the bullet seating die has a fatter knurled part at the top of the die. Also, if you pull the top of the seater post out of them, you'll be able to see the insert inside. I think the Lee FCD insert is a hollow tube, and the bullet seating die has a beveled head (to seat the bullet).

If all else fails, call Lee.

The Factory Crimp Die also has a carbide "re"-sizing ring.

Maybe this pic will help:

These happen to be .45 Colt dies, but they look almost the same. Regular seat and crimp die is on the left, FCD is on the right.
