Tubb speedlock firing pin for Remington 700

Is the tubb Titanium firing pin a drop in item or does it need fitted?
I have the tools to disassemble the bolt and take the pin out and I have a lath and milling machine so instalation should not be a problem.
Just need to know if its drop in or not.

No, it isn't. Most likely you will have to fit the pin to your cocking piece and then trim the tip to correct firing pin protrusion.
