Reticle Question
I just bought a Simmons Pro 50 Plus scope. the reticle is like the one below(I drew it quickly, it is not perfect). I would assume the thin horizontal line above the crosshairs is a rangefinder. How is it used?

Bump. I understand how a rangefinder is used, I should have been more precise in my question. How many moa is the distance between the lines?

I bought it used and it does not have a manual. Simmons(Bushnell now) emailed me a manual, but it did not have an explanation of the reticle.

Make a target with 1 inch, 2 inch, 3 inch and 4 inch circles on it. Go back one hundred yards and see which (if any) fit. Viola.
