Purchase a SBE yesterday and shot 50 rounds through it. 2 3/4" trap and heavy hunting loads and 3.5" steel shot T's. Great function. Had a good shot pattern from 40 yards into a 30" circle.

With the T shot it was hitting a little low and to the right. No big deal.

I was told the SBE always didn't function is fired from the hip. What I found out was no problem with heavy loads. But when firing trap loads it wouldn't cycle about a third of the time. But then the SBE is make to fire from the shoulder.

Very short test. I will put a couple hundred through it before waterfowl season starts which is in a couple of weeks.

After the season is over I'll give you my thoughts as it will be used in some pretty bad weather and conditions.
