9x20mm Browning Long

I may pick up an FN Browning 1903 Swede-contract in 9x20mm, but I generally like to have a bit of ammunition for my odd old guns. Even Old Western Scrounger seems to be out of luck for this particular oddball, does anyone know where I could find a box of this ammunition?

I have read rumors of Norma brass being made through the 1980s, but have not seen any for sale.

Gad lists 9mm BL.
http://gadcustomcartridges.com/#pistol

I can't get the Quality Cartridges (qual-cart.com) catalog to download, but they would be worth checking.

Or trim .38 Super brass.

I think these are neat guns and would go to the trouble to load for one that had not been munged up to .380. But the price would have to be moderate, since I don't see a real use for it, just a nice novelty.

Trimming .38 Super sounds like the best way to go, as you'll never have to worry about running out.
I made brass for a 9mm Japanese revolver by trimming .38 Super, which required trimming off only 1mm, but I still had to inside-ream the cases to seat .357" bullets. It was a bit of a hassle, but after I had 50 useable cases, I didn't think I'd have to make any more.

Neat. I had not heard of Gad Custom. Thanks for the link.

Would this happen to be the ammo you seek?

http://www.samcoglobal.com/Ammo-9mm-browing.html

Be aware, this ammo is almost certainly corrosive and Berdan primed.

Some of these pistols were converted to .380 ACP.
If 9mm Browning ammo were not available a chamber insert ring might work. A similar ring is sometimes used to convert .32/7.65 French pistols to .32 ACP.
The ring insert for the French pistol can be cut from a .30 Carbine steel case.
The ring is cut from the case mouth, coated with thread lock and inserted, on first firing it locks firmly into the chamber.
A 9mm steel casing should work.
