Is there anything wrong with everyone sharing online deals and such?
I know http://www.anandtech.com has this type of forum and it is immensely popular and VERY helpful. I tried posting something like this earlier but it disappeared w/o a trace. |

I'll second that!
Your post just found me the best freaking price yet on memory upgrades for my computer! I'm going to save nearly $20. THANKS! |

Do you think we can pursuade these guys into something like this for firearms and supplies? |

Rock-
Sorry, but there's tradeoffs to everything. We've made the tradeoff between focus and off topic threads. Don't expect a best deals Forum anytime soon. As concerns deals on firearms and supplies, these threads are most welcome in the various Forums. No spam, please. ie: great closeout deal on the Steyr .376 Rifle: I'd put it in Art of the Rifle. Ammo closeout on handgun calibers: Gen Handgun or Gear and Accessories. Rich |

I see...
That's a shame. It's going to be hard to initiate something like that. I was hoping to get some input from other people. I don't mean like, Where does someone know to get such and such?" but more like someone just mentioning, "Hey there's a special here for these particular parts. I know nobody specifically asked about it but if you happen to be looking..." Do you understand what I'm saying? I guess I'm pretty much saying that I'd like to hear about specials without me having to initiate it. Thanks for the consideration anyway. |
