Why would you have to look for a new powder? AA#7 works great for me.

I'm not sure I have to, but I just bought a Dillon XL650 press. Dillon said their powder measure occasionally binds up on AA7 and AA9 because its so fine and plated? I plan to try AA7 and see if I have any problems. If it does cause problems I was thinking of trying H110 or W-296 ... Do you have any experience with them? Thanks...

I also use #7 in my .450 SMC (nonpropritorary .45 Super) with 230 gr bullets. I have less problems with my powder measure using it than with the 296, that I use in my .41 Magnum, which is a MUCH finer powder. If you haven't had problems, why borrow trouble?

Pampers: Where are you getting your .450SMC brass? Triton says it's not ready yet.

Well, I'm using up my supply of .45 Super from Starline. I have to convert it to large RIFLE primers (to prevent cratering) by deepening the primer pocket .006". That's the reason that Triton decided to use small (rifle) primers. Hopefully, when I need more cases, I'll be able to get them from Starline.

N350

Works fine except its hard stuffing enough into the case as its low density.

Its good for 1200 FPS from a 6" barrel and the ORIGINAL VV manual had it listed under .45 ACP loading, per Euro standards.

Its not as high pressure as others so give it a try.
