rem. primers suck! - Page 2

In my experience the Rem 7 1/2 primers were cream-of-the-crop from my AR15. They've also been exceptional in my 45 ACP. Might be something else going on here.

Same here. All I use in .223 is 7-1/2 Remington, or Tula if I run short of Remington. Over the past 45 years I have probably loaded at least 250,000 Remington primers, and I can't say that I ever had a bad one.

I agree, check the case setup. Might be excessive setback. And try the ammo in another .30-06 rifle too.
