Tracker in .357...

Made my first Revovler, a nicely used Taurus Tracker in .357. I got all the gun, case, p-work, 100+ rounds of BVA 180gr "Bear Load" some Hornady and a bunch of Remington oh yeah and a bag of .45ACP reloads for less than $500. I will get a chance to shoot it Sunday. the Commiefornia 10 day is in effect so He gets it back until later this week but from you, the Experts, what am I looking for in the initial tests of my first wheelgun and my first used handgun purchase?

Test's...

Visual's...

Feel...

Sights...

Thank You in Advance for your advise.
Mike

I have a tracker in a .44mag with a 4 inch ported barrel.....with the 44mags it's a handful and I sure would not want to go high pressure mag loads in it.

but it sure shoots the 44 specials nice. It's a fine piece and well made.

not a tack driver this one but a lot of heat for the weight. I'm sure yours is also

range day

I did not have the feeler gauges but I take it out and roll things around abit, and back and forth pulling the trigger. The gun eat those .38 special FMJs without a hick-up. I put gloves on for the first cylinder and didnt even aim, just safe downrange and watched the gun work. NO ISSUES, hope my luck holds out! the sights are off a bit and the front sight red/orange square is a bit crooked but that is an easy and cheap fix. I will post more pics and hopefully some Inet worthy target's hahaha.
