no confirmation with SASS registration last Monday... normal ???
entered my credit card number & registered to become a SASS member last Monday... got no confirmation e-mail or anything saying they recieved my order...
is this normal ??? if so, it's not a good policy, they should at least send a confirmation e-mail... I already checked my junk e-mail filters, in case it might have gone there... suggestions ???

They are slow sometimes. It'll be worth the wait.

so it's normal for them to not acknowledge my order ???
how long should I wait for my "package" before I get concerned that my order didn't go through or something ???

I registered my daughter and I a couple of weeks before Christmas. They had a snowstorm or two out there at the big SASS HQ, but we still got our packets within 10 days to 2 weeks of my registration. And no, they didn't "confirm" my order either (which I think would be a good idea). I did see via online banking that they got the money for the transaction about 4-5 days after I registered.
Like Noz said....it's worth the wait. |

thanks for the reply...
did you ( or anyone else ) ever check your picked alias against available names off their site to see if you got your alias ( see if they removed it from the available list ) before the packet arrived ???

Yeah, but I think they don't add your "taken" alias to the list until some time after the registration packet goes out. At least that was my experience.

thanks again...
not trying to make waves before I even get in, but with any internet trade, a confirmation of order should always be sent ( it's a good sales practice ) I don't remember the last thing I bought on line that did not auto send an order confimation...

Give them a call at their 800 # and ask. They'll give you your number and tell you if your alias was approved. Stuff in the mail will come later.

I use mine but I did shorten it to Hawg on a few. Yeah, you can call to see if it's approved but if it isn't something out of the ordinary it won't be.
