Isnt it cute?

I saw this at a local pawn shop today, I think if I bought it and actually had to pull it on someone they would think it was a toy and laugh.

Is that Taurus venture into the polymer revolver market? It looks bright enough that if you get into an accident you can leave it on the side of the road as a flare.

I didnt ask if it glows in the dark, maybe its easier to find on the night stand without turning the lights on.

I don't see any appeal in the Taurus plastic revolvers.

Quite frankly I think they look like plastic toys and they weigh just as much as their metal revolvers. Nothing is saved except for production cost and quality.

If you had to pull it on a BG and they laughed, just make 'em stop - permanently.

The advantage to a plastic revolver

You can make an exact working replica on a 3d printer

Also they are recycleable and reduce our carbon footprint.

Lastly they will reduce gun violence because let's face it they will never fire a round!!!!

Ok enough for now.

Regards, Vermonter

A little bright orange paint for the barrel end and it might slip by when they come to confiscate all the guns.

Since the price tag is about what a airweight J-Frame Smith costs, I assume the selling point is the hi-viz grips, eh?

is it the taurus logo, the plastic components, or the wee little colored grips that make it less dangerous to be shot with?

Well I guess that's one way to make sure that you are in deadly danger before you draw your weapon. Then again, it's possible I might rather be shot myself than be seen with that thing in my hand.

Maybe its a decoy CCW? Its so bright it distracts them while you go for your real gun.

Other than the green grips, I don't see where it's any uglier than a Ruger LCR.

I'll second that.

That's the same price I paid for my 442.

Why do Zombie guns require green grips?

Surprising what can be made from recycled milk cartons . . . sort of reminds me of why I like vintage revolvers. . . . can you just imagine Roy Rogers or Gene Autry pulling one of these out?
