History and value of 1877 Colt
Ok guys I have a Model 1877 Colt Thunderer in .41 Cal, double action, with a 4.5" barrel. It's in pretty bad shape, I am not sure it will fire. There is rust on the trigger guard, and the cylinder is pitted. I would say that the condition would be right around 50% or so. It has the birdshead grip, which are the original Colt hard rubber. The serial # is 107948. I am not sure of the actual year of manufacture.
If anyone could give me any information, and the value of this gun it would be greatly appreciated.
