Any idea where? AK & Glock mags
Will stores get stock back in soon? Some say backorder till Feb of 2013. I need 15 round G22 mags and Bulgarian 30 round AK47 mags, poly or steel. Any stores have these im stock for decent prices? Prices are insane at some places, $40 for a Glock mag, ***? Glad I at least have one 15 round for the G22, two 30 and two 40 round for the AK but need more incase the ban does happen. Thanks.

Join the club man... Go to Gunbroker or Ebay and type in "P-mags" if you want to see some crazy prices. Unfortunately, Glock and AK mags are out of stock everywhere I've looked. Hard to say when, or if the prices will settle... but I sure hope they do. I need the same

I saw Tapco AK mags (work fine in my gun) - only $25 for 3 30 rounders + free shipping at Sportsmans Guide.

In my safe are a few.
Perhaps you should have bought them before the panic started?

Whenever I purchase a new rifle or pistol I always buy extra magazines at the time of purchase. You may want to adopt that strategy also.

I just spent $1,100 on an AK two weeks before the shooting in CT happened and $1,000 on a Dragunov two months prior. Ordered four mags at the time. Had one 15 round for the Glock already and three 10 round. Then after the panic buying started, I figured I should buy more mags. I'll check those places to see what they have. Are pmags better than Tapco? I had to take a grinder to the Tapco mags to get them to fit.

One of my LGSs has two or three ProMag AK mags and a slew of Glock factory mags. He caters more to hunters though and has accumulated tactical gear because few in our area buy it... Lucky me

Pmags are good to go, if you can get them.
Lancers are also good to go, also hard to find. |

Hornedandhooked.com has the tapco intrafuse mags for AR15s and AKs in stock. At least they did a couple days ago. Gotta search "intrafuse mag"

What about Korean(Kahn) hi-cap mags? I can't seem to find any, but seems more likely they will be around somewhere. Probably just wait until this dies down a bit though.

+1 for Tapco...
I saw a magazine ad for a bright orange Tapco brand AK mag(30 round). It says it has the smoother Buligarian design whatever that means. Im not big on AK-47s or the "Kalish", .
I recall reading that the orange AK type rifle mags(banana shape) were well made. I think it was in Steven Hunter's novel about a terrorist incident in a large US mall. The "tangos" used surplus 7.62x39mm Warsaw Pact weapons with new design magazines. Clyde |

I have bought three different products from Tapco. I won't buy anything else as all of the items were very cheaply made and did not work for me.

All the Tapco stuff has worked great for me. I've had to do some sandpaper work on an ATI piece, but never found anything to do to Tapco stuff. I don't spend big money for high-end stuff, so I guess I'm not too hard to please.
I'm still waiting to hear from David's Collectibles, where I ordered those mags on the 21st. Their website says to be patient. |

The only tapco product I really use is the AK mags. They have worked for me. I tend to stay away from the rest of their stuff since ATI and Magpul products are around the same price, and the finish seems to be better. Like the molding lines are smoother and stuff. I'm sure the overall quality is fine, though.

Starting to wonder about the mags I ordered from David's Collectibles on the 21st of Dec. I haven't seen the mags yet, they don't return voice mails or emails so far. The mags I ordered were marked available when I ordered them.
On the plus side, they have'nt debitted my credit card yet, either. |

Hey, I spoke too soon about not hearing from David's about my mags. I got an email this AM saying they were shipped and included some tracking info.
I take back all the bad things I was thinking of them (LOL) |

Just ordered two 30 round poly mags from them, $25 each, pretty reasonable. Now I need to find 7.62x39.
