Who's got their MLs completely re-sighted and ready to go?

I'm ready! I practiced my archery skills spearing those little sweet pickles at the BBQ. My shooting skills are finely honed from shooting the bull. My glassing skills I worked on when I was at the beach the other day. I'm as ready as ever!

Just kidding, but it's a good point. Need to get the bow out and start snapping in with the rifles.

Me!!

I've been shooting my bow almost daily and loading way too much ammo. Also making sure all my ML suplies are ready. Archery season starts sept 9th and I planning on sticking one.

Man, I went to sight in and the shop screwed me so badly - first they installed the scope 90 degrees off so that the elevation was on the left and windage on top

then not level when they fixed it, then rings so close to power setting that it was non-adjustable...what a day.

I've got one rifle, one handgun, and one slug gun to sight in, not to mention practice with the bow for a November trip to Wisconsin - wish me luck!

Gonna be busy, busy, busy!!

Errrm, I've got 5 stands up, and I'll be putting up 4 blinds too, for me and my buddies' use, but still haven't shot an arrow since January nor my muzzleloader since last Oct 30 - doh! I do NOT have my shooting lanes cleared however - that's happening this Sat - day after tomorrow.

Shot the bow yesterday for the first time this season. Switched to carbon arrows this year from aluminum. DANG! What took me so long to see the light. These things are fast!!! Shot well for the first round of practice. I do believe another whitetail will fall this year with the bow.

All stands are up but one. Needs repair. It'll go up this weekend.

Guns? Need to test the rifle and sight in the red dot on the .357. Maybe this weekend too.

I've been ready and chafing at the bit since last season.

+1 on the carbon arrows. I wish I'd have switched years ago.

I bought a Tree Saddle a couple of weeks ago and have been practicing out of a tree in my backyard. I think I like it. My stands are still in the shed, so I guess I'm about to find out. I have fed the bugs and prepped a couple of trees. I planned on prepping a couple of more this weekend, weather permitting. The mosquitos ought to be really swarming after this tropical storm.

Bow- sighted in-practice every other day for next month-starting yesterday.

ML- sighted in-practice on days not bow shooting-starting today.

.308- sighted in- practice when shooting ML-starting today.

Stands up-Feeders full-as of last week-end.

7 different Bucks sighted last week-end. All still in velvet. Biggest was a REAL NICE 10 point. I am going after him first.

Got to get off now, I'm making myself nervous just thinking about it.

I'm gonna make kee-razy prediction and say that WBB will be very very successful this year.

I have seen ZERO bucks (and zero does) lately. I have had one or more wheezing at me from 50-75 yards through the trees when they got a drift of my sweat while hanging a stand 2 weeks ago.

I won't count my chickens before they hatch. Last year I saw a lot of bucks that really looked good, and had to settle for a smallest 11 point. I know 11 point sounds pretty good, but if I could post a picture of him you would see what I mean. Wasn't all that impressive. Seems like I can always hit what I'm shooting at on the range, but I can't get one of those bucks to paint a red dot on him anywhere.

Going to be kind of limited for hunts this year. I found out yesterday that there are sizomagraph(spelling) crews on our lease, and won't be done until end of September. The 7 bucks were not on the lease, so maybe I can stick one of them, before powder season.
