Spa treatment for aluminum core .22 suppressors.

My Thunder Beast is titanium and stainless, but my other suppressors are all aluminum.

Is there any reason to not let the aluminum internals soak at a leisurely interval in Ballistol? This seems to be the gentlest, least aggressive cleaning solution I have found. Lower the parts in a glass container, and add Ballistol 'til they are all submerged.

If not, is there anything you would feel is OK for a leisurely soak?

Ballistol wont hurt anything, but there are better chemicals for cleaning carbon off of aluminum IMO.
