Here is an update
I ended up finally getting an email through to s&w a couple of days after my original post. I still have not received a response. I even gave them my cell phone number incase they would like to call me directly. I can't say that I'm happy with their customer service. Thank God I didn't spend $1000 or so on one of their guns that doesn't work. If a bad magazine is this hard to get resolved I can't imagine what it's like getting them to fix a bad gun.
