Model 60 Buffer Pin

I broke the plastic buffer in my old Glenfield model 60. I have the new part but I cannot remove the pin that holds it in. It's almost like it is permanently stuck on the side opposite the c-clamp. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Th: On your M-60 you'll have to take the whole side off to change the buffer. The pin is pressed into the other plate and not meant to be removed. Some of the M-60's did have C clips on both sides.

Oh duh.

I was calling gunsmiths today because I might go shooting tomorrow. I thought nobody was going to reply! I should have figured it out but you had to smack me on the head. I was able to replace it myself and the gun is ready for tomorrow. Thank you very much.
