M16 Iron sight issue

The Windage Knob on my M16 style iron sights came off and I was wondering how to get it back on.
Here's two pictures of the setup.
Sight
Knob
The inside of the knob is smooth, so I have no idea how to get it to stay on and work.

It wasn't broken off, it was screwed off from the other side.

Looks like it's missing a set screw. You can see the screw hole in the second picture.

What did the manufacturer of the sight say when you enquired of them?

Regards,

Walt

Figured I'd ask here before asking the manufacturer. And the screw is probably lying around somewhere in my house. I'll have to go find it.

The hole is for a roll pin,not a screw.

That would be true if it were an AR-15 sight. It's not. It's an AR-15-like sight. Methinks I detected screw threads.

However, as in all things, I do reserve the right to be wrong.

SeanShot, let us know what you find, and which it is .

Regards,

Walt
