Eric Grauffel of France took home the Open Div, Jr. Open, and Open Man vs. Man shootoff honors. 2nd-Todd Jarrett, 3rd-Jethro Dionesio, 4th-Jerry Barnhart. The shootoff Finals was 3-1 with Eric winning over Jethro. Note that Grauffel was using a Tanfoglio and not a 1911-format gun.

I'm curious to know more about the Tanfoglio that Grauffel was using. I visited the company's website (http://www.tanfoglio.it/), but there's not much on there about the design of the gun, other than its polygonal rifling. What else do folks know? How does it differ from a 1911-style gun?

Skip, Tanfoglio makes the EAA range that's sold in the States.
Basically the're copies of the CZ-75. The "race" guns of course have compensators & single action triggers. Look at the similarities: A 1911 has the swinging barrel link & the CZ type has a cam system Photos courtesy of: Bar-Sto Precision Machine 73377 Sullivan Road P.O.
