Kel-Tec Sub2000
I've rarely seen these around here, but there were 3 at the local gun shop today. Only $1500 each.
Think I'll pass. |

I'm glad to be with you, Samwise Gamgee, here at the end of all things.

Good call on passing. I know things were much different, but in '06 I paid $400 for a .40.

Yea, you know it. I saw a Ruger PC40 carbine go for $1125 on there today. I had bid $500 on it but that was as much as I was willing to pay.

I ordered one a year ago and I'm still waiting for it. They were $350 then and the most I'll pay is $500. If it's any more than that I'm getting my deposit back.

the Sub-2000
Mine sleeps in a non-descript aluminum laptop case packed away with about six loaded magazines. Ugliest rifle I own.... but the only one that fits in a laptop case. It is more accurate than shooting a 40 caliber handgun and the 16" barrel give it a little more feet per second. They have their nitch.

I got my Beretta 92 mag Sub 2000 for $300 a couple years ago. I have never seen a new gun as dirty as my gun was when it arrived at my FFL, who actually tried to clean it up for me before I got there. I took it totally apart and there was powder and powder residue all over the inside of it. Dirty or not, it shoots great, I put 200 rounds of WWB through it without a hiccup, and after I added a buffer, the cheekpad/sleeve and a rail, it's a lot of fun. I put a cheap red dot scope on it, but haven't shot it to get it set up yet. I aimed it dead center with the front sight and it should be close. I can't imagine paying any more than $500 for one, but things are insane right now, so...
