New shotgun. My first. Looking for opinions.
Beretta A 390, 30" brl, 4 chokes for $639
Was mainly a .22 plinker until last weekend when I went trap shooting. I'm hooked. 5 rounds, 15,20,11,13,18. My friends were upset with my 20. The 20 & 18 rounds were with Remington 1100. Other with 12 and 20 ga pumps. Was looking at the 1100, but liked the feel of the A 390 better. Anyway, looking for thumbs up or thumbs down and opnions on the 390. And if anyone knows of any problems. Thanks, Madison46 |

The folks over on Shotgun Report are quite favorable to the 300 series Berettas. They also are the most popular auto where I shoot, and I cannot recall any glitches.
IMO, you've got a reliable, shootable shotgun that will last a long time, even for trap. Enjoy! |

A great shotgun.
Have you looked at the Beretta Urika/391? A bit more money, but a trimmer fore-end. It's also, reportedly, a little harder to clean the piston, but I really like the way it handles. John |
