Shotshell holder?

I recently bought a Winchester 120 at a gun show, and an old, raggidy, tattered "wrap around the stock" elastic shotshell holder ($2). However, because the great TFL community has answered my questions and informed me that I am free to modify it. I elected to turn it into a tactical shotgun, and my question is follows:

I am buying an aftermarket stock and foregrip, but is it worth buying a newer, better shotshell holder or stick with my tattered old one for free?

I bought the Blackhawk cheekpad/ammo carrier for mine. The extra ammo is good, the cheekpad is grreat. Highly recommend it.
