Slug barrel for a Maverick 88
Do they make a slug barrel for a Maverick 88 with the 8 round tube?

The slug barrels are 24" so if the current barrel is the same or shorter it should work.
Any Mossberg 500 barrel will fit also

I think the problem here is the 8 round mag guys. I don't think most barrels will fit the 8 round mag, everything is pretty much made for the 6 rounders.
Doing some research, it doesn't look like there's a slug barrel available that will fit the 8 rounder. |

Yes, the rifled slug barrel for the six round capacity, (five in the tube, one in the chamber) seems to be the normal one.
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mossberg-5...Barrel/4242371 For any more than that, you will probably have to go with the 590, or the eight round 500, with suitable slugs for a smooth bore. http://www.mossberg.com/product/shot...ss-laser/50599 For shots up to 75 yards and a little beyond, smooth bore slugs can be very accurate.
