Concealed Carry
The point I was making when I said I don't know anyone who wants to be shot with a 22 is that a 22 handgun, for concealed carry, is better than nothing.
A couple years ago, I saw a show about which gun to carry as a concealed carry gun. The two hosts had a bevvy of handguns on a table. Calibers ranged from 22 to 50 S&W in semi-autos and revolvers. One host made the statement about not knowing anyone who wants to be shot with a 22. |

Actually, I don't think anyone wants to be shot with anything!

I don't want to get hit with one....
I would carry a 22 if options warranted it... Better than nothing

If a thread is closed, you don't restart it. If you think you have a case to restart it - PM a staff member and ask the question.
Thus, this is closed again and restarting without PM conversation would be a no-no. Also, the use of 22s for SD is an old one and quickly becomes: 1. It lacks stopping power and you are an idiot to carry one. 2. No wants to get shot with one so it has deterrent power. 3. Some folks have dropped dead when hit so it does work and is better than a rock. That's it. So bye. Closed
