Mercworx:Anyone heard/have one?
Am curious about this company, and I love their designs. Kind of high $ though

Do you want a folder, or a fixed blade?
I think $425 is the most on either. I have their Atropos folder. It is big, and beautiful. A strong knife. |

Don't have one yet, but I plan on changing that in the very near future. These knives are as beautiful as they are functional. I am going to go with the smaller fixed blade Orion as I have several folders now.
Here is a link to the websiteMercWorx . Enjoy! |

I haven't owned one, but handled a friend's.
It came so dull you could (literally) slide the edge along your wrists and not get a scratch. The liner lock required a 'prybaby' (think small ti prybar) to unlock. Now, every company lets a bad one slip through, and Mercworx is relatively new. But what I found disturbing is their reluctance to make the knife right, and their overall poor customer service. Larry

They're well thought of by someone I think well of WRT knives and combat knives in particular.
