S.W.A.T. Picks up GunGames Magazine

Not too shabby after only 7 months under our control. S.W.A.T. has just been asked to provide replacement copies of our Magazine to GunGames subscribers, now that the publication has ceased operations. http://www.gungames.com

We'll be providing copies of S.W.A.T. to GunGames' subscribers on a one-for-one basis throughout the remainder of their contract (at no charge). In addition to the obvious benefits to GunGames patrons, this strengthens S.W.A.T.'s market presence and distribution.

I'm going to miss GunGames, but will enjoy receiving SWAT. When I last renewed my GG subscription I believe it was for two years (I was optomistic), any way to find out the status of my remaining subscription, if any? I'm sure others may have the same question. PM me at your convienence. RG

This is an interesting development. You would think they would have gone with Shooting Times or a sports magazine... Picking SWAT, while a good choice, is a stretch. This is like in radio, an oldies station replacing the DJs with the next rock station's morning crew. A total shake up.

Another thing that impressed me was after only 7 months you have picked up some "top notch" companies that have chose to advertise in SWAT

Not to pat ourselves on the back, but that would have happened much earlier it hadn't taken me until the close of February ads to fire the worthless pogues that were selling ads for us. It's all over now, but for the "blood on the floor" stage of that relationship!

Since then I've taken over Ad Sales personally with a little help from Ron, Scott Smith, Denny and others.

Rich, congratulations on these developments ... great news.

Now, do you think you can buy *&*, and straighten them out?

We're all out at SHOT Show. But I did have Denny approach them. He was immediately arrested by the Feds.....go figure!
