115gr RN vs. 125gr TC Cast Lead

I am planning on buying some bullets from a local cast bullet maker in 9mm. The two I'm looking at is 115 grain round nose and 125 grain truncated cone. I'm looking for recommendations between the two. What seems to be the preference between these two rounds? This will also be my first time loading lead and 9mm, so any info would be greatly appreciated.

I've loaded and shot a buttload of both without any issue.

It will depend, however, on your firearm and what it likes, what your preferences are for POI, etc.

I'd suggest getting a small quantity of both types and see how they perform before taking the plunge and buying several hundred or thousands of projectiles without knowing if they work to your satsifaction or not.

I prefer the 115 RN, but that's because they perform well in my XD.
