ATF Offices

I have heard you get a faster turn around if paper work sent to West Virginia instead of Georgia address. Anyone know if true?

Don't know. I just send it to the address that the instructions say to send it to. Why upset the apple cart?

If you're supposed to mail it to the Georgia address, send it there otherwise I'd be willing to bet it's going to take longer or just get sent back to you.

The current turnaround is pretty zippy. Send it to Georgia.

That little piece of paper has been hell on mine.

I sent my renewal in with the pre-addressed envelope and it came back 'undeliverable-no such address'.

My hand written envelope with the same address worked fine.

Well this has started off like a story from hell. The post office delivered my certified mail application to the wrong zip code in Atlanta. Went to a general box for Bank of America.

I think I'm Fd.

People get way too freaked out with their applications.
fill out, sign, put in envelope, address to where it said to, put stamp on envelope, put in mail box.
Has worked for my original, and 3 renewals without a hitch!
No certified mail, no special delivery, no signed receipt requested. Just good ole bankrupt U.S. Mail!
