starter punch to loosen the M&P 40 FS Extractor pin
I've read elsewhere, that one of the sets of three tapered nail sets using the 1/32" size would work to get the pin moving. Then it was said the 1/16" straight punch which I have could be used to tap it the rest of the way out the nail set I will have to purchase though. Can any of you smiths familiar with this job, verify it's doable using a nail set for a starter punch? Or can you please, recommend a Starter punch that will work without breaking and where to purchase one? Thanks!
