Gunsmith in Central NY

Anyone know of a good gunsmith in Central New York that will actually "smith" a gun?

Everyone I talk to is practically afraid to touch a gun due to law suits. :barf:
I'm just looking to get some reliable trigger work done on a couple shotguns (deer guns) to get the trigger lightened from the lawyer safe 6-7lb down to like 3 1/2lbs

Good luck.

The only one I knew of on Long Island finally gave up dealing with the hassles the county police gave him and quit.

Yeah, I'd be interested. Rochesters only about 1 1/2 hrs from me and I could probably just mail the triggers.

You'd have to travel, he has a waiver to sign for any trigger work.

Let me know if you are interested.
