Which Canik tp9 version do you prefer and why?
This is just for discussion purposes. I went with the TP9SF for 2 reasons. First the sights are easier to change out and two of the 3 models I looked at it had the best feeling trigger.

I like the one you got, because it lacks the decocker.

Yep, the TP-9SF is what I would recommend if you don't want the button. It was said that the TP-9SF was put to market due to that awful button. You have to applaud a company who moves so fast due to customer input.
What is strange is that Canik didn't just sideline the TP-9SA and just go with the TP-9SF with its missing button and front and back adjustable sights. They released that gen 2 or whatever they call it. The button is not a selling point in the least for me, but I surely do like that adjustable front sight. |
