Best shotgun for home defense and hog hunting?
Hello,
I'm looking for the best shotgun for both home defense and hog hunting. Which shotgun would you pick? (let's keep it under $2000) Here are my priorities:
I'm leaning towards the Benelli M4. Thanks everyone, Jerry |

Hi Jerry,
I'm sure our resident hog expert, Brent (hogdogs), will be along shortly. |

Mossberg 500A...and you'll have about $1,700 to spend on something else.

Its not about the gun, its about the gunner. Pick the one that looks best to you, and train, train, and then practices...
Pattern, shoot skeet, shoot trap, shoot clays, shoot pepper poppers/steel, and then get out there... Of course I'm not a hunter, and this is just my opinion...
