Back in the late 60's I spent a year in Vietnam. Seen quite a few large stag (deer) and one Tiger (lots of tracks).

Anyone know if there are any hunting being allowed in Vietnam today?

I recall reading a copy of OutdoorLife in the mid to late 1960's. In the letters from readers section, there was a letter and picture from a GI posing in Viet Nam with his M16....AND A TIGER! Talk about a war trophy. Being all of maybe 10 years old at the time I read this, I was quite impressed. Come to think of it, I'm still quite impressed. But I'd still prefer something a little more potent than the 223 for tiger hunting.
