Reversing a cross-bolt safety
Is this possible? I like the Remington 870 but I shoot left-handed. The only control that gets in my way is the safety being weird for lefties, so is it possible to make it go the other way? Thanks.

You can't reverse the safety on the 870's made in the last 20 years or so.
What you can do is just buy a new left-hand safety. If your gun is fitted with the "J-lock" locking safety button, order a new Wingmaster version safety spring and ball too, Parts 49 and 50. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/...0A&catid=11943 All the parts including the spring and ball: http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/...px?catid=11943 |
