Another Armed Citizen Cleans Up Neighborhood.

Greetings:
Just ran across this in the Dallas area news.

Too bad it was a kid, but young violent lives are sometimes cut short as a result of the violence they perpetuate. Just a little chlorine in the Great Gene Pool of Life.

Pleasant Grove is on the SE edge of Dallas and has been an 'economically depressed' area for most of its' existence, more so in the last 20 years, with a dramatic increase in illegal immigrant and minority populations.

Please note that the Armed Citizen was released by police after questioning. Crime against persons and property is rampant in this area. I do not know at this time the ethnicity of those involved, nor shall I speculate on it.

Regards,
Rabbit.

Teen killed during alleged robbery
12/24/2002

From Staff Reports

A 16-year-old boy was killed late Monday and another person was wounded after the victim of an alleged robbery opened fire outside a Pleasant Grove apartment complex, police said.

According to police reports, Ronald Henry was in the process of robbing someone at the Barclay Square Apartments in the 8100 block of Barclay Street when he was shot.

Police said the man who shot Mr. Henry had been robbed moments earlier. He retrieved an assault-style rifle and found Mr. Henry and another suspect robbing someone else in the parking lot about 7:40 p.m.

Police said the man shot Mr. Henry and wounded the accomplice when one of them pointed a gun at him. The man was questioned and released by police pending the investigation.

Those that live by the gun, die by the gun, or at least, they should. The perps youth is of no concern to me, that they were on a gun weilding robbery spree is.

Very good. I was going to say the same thing... live by the gun, die by the gun. Unfortunately, the door swings both ways and karma has no favorites. Be prepared. The victim chose well... but what's an "assault style" rifle anyways?

In this case, an "assault style rifle" is obviously something that works!

Seriously, I live in Dallas too. Given the area, I'd say it's an SKS most likely. I do remember one shooting from that area involving an AR-15 last year, but that was an older gentleman who had lived there for sometime and did not care to move when the area went downhill.

He may have been a kid, but he was old enough to choose the wrong way and got his just desserts.

Imagine what kind of "man" he would have turned out to be, and how many lives he would have affected badly by the time he got there. I'm tickled pink he's gone, sorry for the guy who had to plug him. Unfortunately this just reduces the vermin count a miniscule amount.
