Misrepresentation of arms in 'The FBI Files'...

I saw an episode of 'The FBI Files' on the Discovery Channel a day or two ago. Basically, the introduction was a pair of armed criminals with AR-15s being repelled by a homeowner with an AK.

The thing is, the studio decided machineguns are more exciting than semi-autos, so what you see is a small gunfight with semi-auto fire... But you hear machineguns.

I can see this confusing audience members into thinking AR-15s and civilianized AKs are full-autos... :-\
