Best sling swivel for Ruger 10/22 TD (synthetic stock)

Hi, just got a new 10/22 take down, and want to add a sling. Should the front swivel be integrated into the band? Or can one be screwed into the synthetic as you would wood?

Your call but,

Whenever I have a band, I prefer to use it and install a band stud. As far as the wood screw studs, I generally designate these for the buttstock. On forends, I prefer the machine screw going all the way through, recess on the barrel side and install a backing washer and nut. I have seen too many screw type studs, strip out of the forend and really mess up the wood. .....

Be Safe !!!
