Your ultimate gearbag/pack
I hunt many scenarios from stand hunts where everybody comes in for lunch to solo days where I can spend a week or more. Most of the time it is the former and I just need a small pack that can be hand carried to a stand.
Requirements (day pack): 2 16 oz. bottles of water. Extra ammo. (never used). Binoculars, small. Lots of small stuff. Mini flares, camo kit (makeup, tywraps) compass, GPS, whistle, orange vest, camo gloves, dry socks, bug spray. Long range later. As I'm going over this I'm thinking "Wouldn't Dad be proud.". We used to spend a few weeks up in the KY woods with a max 13# pack.

I use a Maxpedition Devil Dog for the hunts where I travel lite. For more capacity (xtra clothes etc) I am in love with my Badlands Hypervent. first backpack I have enjoyed wearing.
